Liebe TeilnehmerInnen der Internationalen Imago Konferenz 2019,

wir möchten uns im Namen des ganzen Teams bei Ihnen ganz herzlich für Ihr Dabeisein und die vielen positiven Rückmeldungen bedanken! Es war eine Tagung, die viele neue Impulse brachte.

Der Auftakt von Prof. Dr.med Joachim Bauer bekräftigte anhand neurobiologischer Forschung unsere Erfahrung, dass heilende Begegnung für die Formung des Selbstbildes lebenslang wirkungsvoll und hilfreich ist. Dr. Harville Hendrix und Dr. Helen LaKelly Hunt brachten uns mit persönlichen Worten, Filmen und Bildern sowie fundiertem Fachwissen die Wirkung des liebevoll achtsamen Staunens in der Paarbeziehung nahe. Eva Wessely veranschaulichte die Wichtigkeit der sicheren Bindung in einer berührenden Lifedemonstration und Dr.in Claudia Luciak-Donsberger und Dr. Mikael Luciak vermittelten vielfältige und praxisrelevante Erkenntnisse und Zugänge zum Thema Vergebung in der Paarbeziehung. Die Workshops der Ehepaare Mag.a Elisabeth Gatt-Iro & Mag. Dr. Stefan Gatt, Claudia Luciak-Donsberger & Dr. Mikael Luciak und Wiebke und Ingo Anton sowie Maya Kollman wurden allesamt als sehr belebend, inspirierend und informativ erlebt. Ein großer Erfolg war auch der von ÖBVP Präsident Dr. Peter Stippl eröffnete Imago Ball im Schloss Miller-Aichholz, bei dem Harville Hendrix und Helen LaKelly Hunt dem Ehepaar Mag.a Evelin und Mag. (FH) Klaus Brehm für ihre langjährige Arbeit in der internationalen Community bedankten und bei dem Mina Kornblum die Imago-DiplomandInnen mit ihrem Imago Song ehrte. Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben wird uns auch der Commonologue, der im Rahmen einer sicheren und intimen Atmosphäre eine tiefgehende Verbindung und fruchtbaren Meinungsaustausch ermöglicht. Orli Wahrman, Neil Meili und Dorsey Cartwright vom Imago Peace Project haben uns am Sonntagnachmittag durch diesen innovativen Gruppenprozess geführt.

Dear participants of the International Imago Conference 2019,

we would like to thank you for being a part of this conference and for giving us such positive feedback! It was a conference that brought many new impulses.

The opening lecture of Joachim Bauer using neurobiological research affirmed our experience that healing encounters are effective and helpful throughout life for shaping the self-image. Harville Hendrix’ and Helen LaKelly Hunt's personal words, films and images as well as well-founded knowledge demonstrated the effect of loving and attentive amazement in relationships. Eva Wessely illustrated the importance of secure attachment in a touching life demonstration, and Claudia Luciak-Donsberger and Mikael Luciak shared diverse and practice-relevant insights and approaches to forgiveness in the relationship. The workshops of the couples Elisabeth Gatt-Iro and Stefan Gatt, Claudia Luciak-Donsberger and Mikael Luciak and Wiebke and Ingo Anton as well as the workshop by Maya Kollman were all  very invigorating, inspiring and informative. Another great moment was the opening of the Imago&More ball by the president of the Austrian psychotherapy association, Peter Stippl, at Castle Miller-Aichholz. At the ball Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt thanked Evelin and Klaus Brehm for their many years of work in the international Imago community, and Mina Kornblum honored the certified Imago Austria members with her Imago song. And last but not least we’ve had a special treat this year, when Orli, Neil and Dorsey, from the Imago Peace Project, have introduced us to their work with Communologue, and have led us in a few hours of this magical safe, containing process.
